Today we are talking about creating balance in your relaxed state (Yin) and active state (Yang), with my guest Olivia Shurdova. Join us!
This is a really insightful discussion about energy, how easy it is to over-extend yourself and how to find the balance:

  • Today we are learning that whilst your Yin energies are cooling, passive, contemplative and dark, Yang is active and about light and warming the body
  • We see this balance in everything around us in nature
  • Yin and Yang can both deplete us AND fill us up!
  • When depleting us, 'False' Yin would make you feel stuck, heavy, fearful and insecure whilst 'False' Yang can lead to aggressiveness or narcissism

Olivia says:

"Part of Yin and Yang is to go with your challenges: yin is about being adaptable and yang is about being creative. You need both together to support you and fuel the demands you place on yourself."
(Olivia Shurdova, guest on Her Ambitious Career podcast)
