Welcome to the Her On Top Podcast, Season 2 Episode 1! Kayla addresses the shift to the podcast becoming a solo show and where Alex has gone. Kayla then discusses where she has been these last few months and what has been influencing her new direction for the podcast. Kayla talks about Kate Northrup and Sarah Jenks and how they have been extremely influential in guiding her to wanting to work solely with women in her practice and on this podcast. Kayla then discusses cyclical living and the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle. Kayla explains the different energy levels women and people with wombs have in each phase and why this knowledge matters. Kayla questions what could have been different if this was what we learned about periods and the menstrual cycle instead of all the shameful narratives. Kayla ends by sharing how women can use this knowledge to be more reverent and caring towards themselves and their bodies and feel more connected to their inner strength and power.
