Jocelyn Alexander is a May 2005 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Immediately following graduation, Jocelyn moved to the Washington, DC area for a government contract position. As a career-driven woman, its important to remain confident and take charge. This episode talks about the shared lessons and experiences that have shaped Jocelyn and the importance of being inquisitive, assertive, and unapologetic in decision-making within your work field. Many women in a male-dominated workplace may feel intimidated and afraid to take up space; however, Jocelyn's unique journey and confidence attribute to her leveraging her career, business, and creating space for other women of color throughout the years.
