Finding Courage in God's Promises In times of difficulty and adversity, it can be challenging to stay courageous. However, the promises of God provide us with the strength and encouragement we need.Today, let's explore a few key scriptures that remind us of the unwavering courage we can find in His word. Philippians 4:13 (NLT) - Drawing Strength from Christ: This theme of scripture throughout my life, reassures us that “we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength”. With this verse as our foundation, we can approach any challenge with unwavering courage, knowing that we have the power of Christ within us. 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV) - Vigilance in the Face of Adversity: Peter reminds us to be sober-minded and watchful because our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
