Dankzij de volksopstand in delen van de Arabische wereld, is de gepensioneerde Midden-Oosten deskundige Bertus Hendriks nog altijd frequent aanwezig op televisiescherm en radio af geweest. Meestal vragen de nieuwsprogramma’s om een kort verhaaltje, maar Bertus kan ook lang vertellen! Dat deed hij op vrijdag 4 januari 2008 bij de VPRO in een gesprek met Rik Delhaas.
