Its surprising how common the belief is that anyone with an executive role has it all figured out. It's like we've decided that somewhere along the lines they got access to all the knowledge and answers for things that were relevant to their working world. We see this with other podcasts and articles asking execs their opinions on things that have little to nothing to do with their area of expertise and yet behaving as if their response was gospel. Not all of them are like this. Some times, if you're really lucky, you get a remarkable person who is not only an expert in their area, but also willing to actively admit that they are still learning, still growing, and don't know a lot about a lot of things. Mark Swarbrick is that guy. As a driving force and creative leader in the technology arena Mark is a certifiable master. He's also funny, and down to earth. Which means that in this podcast alone you'll hear him say "I had no idea" about things more than once. Always wanting to get better, Mark adds to his formidable array of skills by asking questions and listening.
