Breeanna Gordon has a sexy job title: Creative Director. When most people hear that title they picture purple hair, funky glasses, and tattoos working for an advertising firm, marketing agency, or purely creative sector (Disney, Netflix, etc). They don't picture Bree. She's a lot less assuming. A lot less "artist" vibe and a lot more "competent corporate" vibe. They really don't picture her employer, Roth Staffing. Yep. A staffing company. Yep. One of "those" temporary workers, contract employees, bulk vacancies, etc. They do a lot more than that (check out their website here: https://www.linkedin.com/company/rothstaffing/), but at their most basic that's what they do. Nothing about that screams "Awesome Creative Director opportunity". And yet....

During the interview Bree explains how the organization is dedicated to being more and better than most of the others out there. They bring a fresh perspective and try to create fun and engaging ways to keep field and head office staff motivated and excited about their culture. That's a really big ask. Temporary employees often have little contact with their nominal employers (except for timesheets and payday) and often see them as a negative - charging double or more per hour what they pay the employee. Bree works hard to change that perception, and so does her organization. This conversation will definitely challenge what you think of both from staffing organizations and creative roles.
