One of the good things that has come out of the pandemic is that many people have used this as a time to reconnect with their love of food and cooking. Lockdown happened in March and by May millions were baking sourdough bread daily, brewing kombucha, and experimenting with new recipes and ways of cooking. During all of this the common recipe blog trick of front loading the page with back story, and anecdote before listing the recipe became the bane of every home cook's culinary existence.
