On the afternoon of June 6th, 1980, Zigmund Adamski left his house to buy some potatoes from his nearby corner shop. Five days later his body would be discovered atop a 12 foot coal heap, a few miles away from his home.

Six months later, police constable Alan Godfrey was on a call to investigate reports that a herd of cows were released upon a local council estate.
