In the rugged wilderness of the 19th-century American West, a lone figure stands against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. This is John Jeremiah Garrison Johnston, a man whose life is shrouded in myth and bloodshed. Known as "Liver-Eating Johnson," his story is a tapestry woven from the threads of revenge and survival.
The year is 1847, in the Alder Gulch territory of Montana. Johnston, a mountain of a man, stands over the smoldering remains of his log cabin, his heart as scorched as the earth beneath him. His wife, a member of the Flathead tribe, lies lifeless, taken from him by the Crow, igniting a rage that would become the stuff of legends.
As the sun sets over the jagged peaks, Johnston makes a vow – a vow of vengeance that will see him become both feared and revered. His path is one of relentless pursuit, a journey that will have him clash with nature, tribes, and his own demons.
In the shadows of the mountains, Johnston's tale unfolds – a saga of a man who turned grief into a relentless pursuit of revenge, his actions echoing through the valleys and into the annals of Wild West lore.
