I have waited six months to interview Kevin. Is he worth the wait? YEP!! This guy is so far ahead of the game, he should be running for office! Kevin Hirzel is a Michigan Condominium Attorney and the Partner at Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, PLC that chairs the Community Association and Real Estate Practice Group. He practices out of the Livonia and Clinton Township offices, but has a statewide practice and is available to service clients from the Grand Rapids and Traverse City offices. He focuses his practice on community association law, condominium law, construction law and real estate law. Mr. Hirzel was selected as a 2015 Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly, an award given to 30 attorneys in the state each year. He was also named a Top Lawyer in real estate law by Michigan Top Lawyers.com in 2015. Mr. Hirzel was named a Michigan “Rising Star” in real estate law by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2013-2016. He is the Chairman of the Michigan CAI Legislative Action Committee and is actively involved in rewriting the Michigan Condominium Act. Mr. Hirzel’s rewrite of the Michigan Condominium Act was submitted for a bill draft by Senator Margaret O’Brien in 2016. He is also responsible for drafting HB 4919, which was introduced by Klint Kesto in 2015. Mr. Hirzel has provided recommendations relating to state and federal legislation to other legislators as well. He is the Chairman of the Michigan CAI Legislative Action Committee and is actively involved in rewriting the Michigan Condominium Act.
