Hello Colorado Rapids fans. MLS is back! Happy match week! This week on Holding The High Line, we have so much to talk about. The guys banter abut the new Rapids kit and the referee lockout that could see Scabby The Ref get a call wrong against the Pids. Also, we're officially #SaveTheCup.

If you haven't seen, the national pundits do not think the Rapids will make the playoffs this year. Red breaks down their possible thinking, from Chris Armas being a bad hire, to the lack of a proven goal scorer, to Something To Prove FC. We hope y'all did your homework, salaries pundits.

Rabbi and Red do a full Portland Timbers Preview. We discuss their offseason turnover, key additions, and of course Diego Chara and Evander. Can the Rapids get a result? Who will be in the starting lineup? How will Armas have the team play to open the year?

Then Matt takes you inside Rapids training. We discuss the energy Armas brings, the types of drills, and how they're still a work in progress physically and tactically. Should we be encouraged or worried given how tough those first seven games are? Does that make the first two or three matches all the more important? We end the show hearing from Connor Ronan.

The 2024 Colorado Rapids season is here, Rapids Community. Hope springs eternal. To steal the saying from Sunderland 'Till I Die, it's time for a rebirth of this football club and a Renaissance of the Rapids.
