By the time your mare nears the end of her pregnancy, she will no doubt be feeling uncomfortable.

You can do Holistic Horseworks horse yoga. It's very gentle. Stay away from the rib lifts, but you can still do the carrot stretches. You can still do the front leg circles, you can do the tail pulls and the buttocks to help free up their pelvis, to be able to be open and free to push out the foal.

Do a little bodywork session as soon as they do foal, and it's safe to be around the mare and foal.

I have been finding that a lot of our foals are mineral deficient, and that's the weak fetlocks.

I also gave a little bit of syringe of the Dynamite Dyna Pro to the foal, which really helped, you know, past that first poop, get their gut going. All the changes happening and my foals wouldn't get the scours where all that stuff on their hind end is making like their hair fall out and everything. I would just get a tiny little syringe without the needle and drop a little bit of the Dyna Pro every day and just give them a little bit like in the first four or five days.
I also give some to the broodmares as well. You know, they're going through a lot of changes.

I've seen foals at two months old that are already out of alignment because they fall asleep next to corral panels and wake up under them. Or in halter training, they're pulling back or they ran and they fell and tumbled down a hill.
