It would be interesting to know how frequently Joe Biden visits his daughter-in-law Hallie at home, as he did last weekend.

Biden says the visit was to commemorate the anniversary of his son Beau’s death. Hallie was his wife and thereafter in a relationship with Hunter.

But Hallie is a key prosecution witness in Hunter’s gun trial, which begins next week. Prosecutors allege that after Hunter illegally owned a weapon, Hallie disposed of his gun in a public dumpster.

It’s much easier to keep a conversation completely secret away from White House grounds. To avoid the appearance of impropriety, Biden could have hosted Hallie at The White House or spoken by phone or Zoom. It’s odd he chose not to.

And we all know that if Donald Trump had done what he just did, Biden and the media would describe it with two pithy words: Witness tampering.
