Hugh Hewitt: As the Democrats Gather in Chicago

The nation’s leading Democrats will be in Chicago next week, launching on Monday the Convention that will nominate Kamala Harris as the Democratic party nominee— along with her hard-left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz running mate.

It should be on every voter’s mind: Is Harris up to this job?

In answering that, we’ve got very little to work with from recent days. Zero interviews, zero press conferences from the Vice President since Joe Biden withdrew more than two weeks ago. What we do have throughout her Vice Presidency, her years in the senate, her very-much miscarried presidential campaign in 2019 is cringe-inducing.

Kamala Harris would be the least credentialed, least impressive, least prepared presidential candidate elected in the modern era if she wins. It’s impossible to imagine the damage from her policies and what they would do because they would be so far to the left of anything the country has ever experienced.

Simply put: Vice President Harris represents a hard-left agenda and does not possess the minimum skills set necessary to be president.

Let’s pray the American people can see through legacy media’s charm offensive for Harris and instead choose course-correction in Donald Trump.
