It is telling that Kamala Harris chose Tim Walz for her VP nominee. Usually, the candidate at the top of the ticket is looking for some kind of balance, or to communicate something to the voting public.
What is being said with the Harris pick of Walz? The wrap on Harris is that she is incompetent and the farthest left nominee to a major ticket in history. Did she pick serious? Did she pick non-left? No—she didn’t even pick someone from a state that could help her in the general.
She picked a far left governor with a state of failing indicators, falling education scores, rising crime, and net-out-migration, all the province of which governors are held responsible. She had the choice to go “moderate” with an electoral college delegate-rich state that is always in play for Republicans and Democrats alike, but didn’t.

Only a week ago, Tim Walz was promoting socialism as nothing more than neighborliness, touting progressivism as a good thing.

When someone tells you who they are, to quote Tim Walz, believe them.
