Our guest today, Missy Hitz, has been helping people feel better with massage therapy for over 24 years. By combining her knowledge of Kinesiology (B.S. Penn State University) and massage therapy (Central PA School of Massage (CPSM) she has been able to help many people reduce and even eliminate muscle pain and stress. Through her background as an educator (Massage Therapist Program Director/Instructor at Great Lakes Institute of Technology (GLIT) & MT Instructor at CPSM) and in the field (Day Spas, Chiropractic Offices & Fitness Centers) she has gained enough experience & clientele to open Monacella Massage & Kinesiology in 2008. Missy continues to love learning, helping others in the field (Board member of GLIT Massage Therapy Program) and mentoring entrepreneurs via Paramount Pursuit mentoring programs.

Missy is proud to support local businesses and is a member of the Erie Downtown Partnership & City of Erie Mayor’s Business Council.
Find out more about Monacella Massage!

At Monacella Massage and Kinesiology, we believe that the health of a community starts with the physical health of each individual, and physical health -- starting with freedom from pain and a full mobility range -- is the foundation of mental health. So helping Erie to feel better physically helps Erie to get out there and DO better, including everything from our jobs to our relationships to those little bits of interaction we have every day with the person at the coffee shop. We love Erie and want the best for all of us, starting with just feeling good.
