Writing is a response, a response to the play unfolding before us. It can be expressed in various ways; The purpose and target audience plays a vital role in the choice of words and the ambience built into the script. In this episode, Abishek Iyengar - Writer & Founder of WeMove Theatre, gives us an insight into the dimensions of writing, and the importance of not being judgemental.
Further, he tells us that each individual brings about the idiosyncrasies personal to them, developed as a heuristic. While it seems like it is a personal expression, it also in a way is a social service to the audience. Understanding this aspect of writing for a certain group governs the choice of words and the nature of conventions to be followed.
