This week Hope West Melton welcomes Kaaren Mathias. Kaaren works in public health in New Zealand and India and supports the NZ College of public health medicine as a Training programme supervisor. She is founder/director of Burans (www.burans.org) who have developed interventions (Nae Disha, Nae Umeed, Swasthya Labh Saadan) that have been adopted and scaled with other non-profits and Nae Disha (a youth mental health and resilience intervention) which was adopted, adapted and scaled by the National Institutes of Disability across India.
