Don't just “GO” through difficult times, “GROW” through difficult times.

Joseph went from the Pit, to Potiphers House, to Prison to the Palace.

Genesis 45:7-8 NIV

"God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God."

It's not WHY am I going through this, but WHAT are You wanting me to learn from this?

Practical Steps to Perseverance

#1 - Plant yourself in this house and in the Word of God.

#2 - Have consistent Prayer life.

Philippians 4:6 NIV

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

#3 - Embrace trials as opportunities for growth.

James 1:2-4 NIV

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
