On Saturday, 17th September 2016, the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust held its annual Open Day. For the first time, Hospital Radio Reading was invited to broadcast live from the event. Graham Sims, the Chairman of the Trust talked on air about his role. Debbie McGee gave a very moving interview, talking openly about the loss of her husband, Paul Daniels, and the support they received at the Royal Berkshire Hospital where he was treated. Other guests included: Consultant David Mossop from A & E, Lynn Bayliss, Chairman of the League of Friends and Heather and Jane from the South Central Ambulance Service. Rhodders also had a look behind the scenes of the pharmacy with Dispensary Manager Cheryl Duncan.
