Renowned for her vapor-adjacent visual art, Segaoctopus has been a highly coveted guest for us to have on "Hot Takes", and we relished getting her input on various animation techniques like rotoscoping and stop animation, making sure to not miss our chance to also pick her brain on favorite anime and Western animated media. A longtime visual artist, Segaoctopus has released several longform digital comic strips and has produced everything from chibi caricatures to rotoscoped animations of various vaporwave acts, such as Equip. As an immensely treasured member of the vaporwave visual scene and creator of the pixel GIFs that we use for our own show, her thoughts, tastes, and opinions were highly sought after, and we didn't waste time in uncovering as much info on Seggo as possible!
