We recently had a great conversation with Juan Manuel lead vocals of the Texas metal band ZombieKing! We discussed Selena's influence in their area and on the band which prompted the cover they did and how having a social media presence has aided them before and during covid pandemic. Juan explained how "Dead to Life" ep came to be and how mental health played a large role in the lyrics. We also talked about Juans family life, his dads journey of coming to the states at such a young age and how his work had an impact on Juan's upbringing emotionaly and culturally.
