Defy the What If’s
Holy Spirit continues to talk to us about higher levels
- Higher level of faith Higher level of glory Higher level of thinking Higher level of accountability Higher level in every area of our lives
Last week’s message was entitled Why High?
- Holy Spirit told us about His reason for us to be blessed. He also warned us about our hearts. It was a time to examine our motives. We sensed a sacred holy moment in this house. Holy Spirit performed surgery
So Holy Spirit is calling us higher and told us why and we have prepared our hearts.
So what's next? Hear what Holy Spirit said:
- IF YOU'RE EVER GOING TO DO ANYTHING YOU MUST DEFY THE WHAT IF’S!
Defy
- Openly resist or refuse to obey
- AS SOON AS YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN YOUR HEART THE SPIRIT OF WHAT IF COMES TO CAUSE YOU TO QUESTION WHETHER YOU CAN OR NOT!
- IT COMES TO PARALYZE YOU, TO CAUSE PROCRASTINATION
- IT COMES WITH THE SPIRIT OF FEAR. THEY LIKE TO TRAVEL AS TWINS
- YOU MUST DEFY THE WHAT IF’S

If you allow the what if’s to paralyze you, you will never find out the results.
You will never get to your destination
Example: holding pattern
Thinking about the what if’s is a waste of time. It is a trick to delay you. It is a trick to deter you.
You must develop a defiance against the WHAT IF’S
Defiance
- Open resistance, bold disobedience
Example: driving up the mountains
