This week Alex & Ryan talk with film journalist and critic Claudia Puig, including a discussion of her choice of "B-Side": Steven Soderbergh’s 1998 movie “Out of Sight.”

Claudia Puig is president of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and a nationally recognized entertainment journalist and film critic. Currently a critic for NPR’s Film Week show and podcast, she is also contributor to NPR’s Morning Edition. Puig was USA Today’s film critic for 18 years and host of the website’s The Screening Room video series. Prior to that she was a Los Angeles Times staff writer for 11 years. Claudia is currently program director for the Mendocino Film Festival and for Film Fest 919 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and was previously program director for the Napa Valley Film Festival. She has served as a juror for film festivals from Ashland to Zurich. In 2021 she was named programming director of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Alex Keledjian

Alex Keledjian is the creator of Project Greenlight, a documentary television series where executive producers Matt Damon and Ben Affleck gave first-time filmmakers a chance to direct their first feature film. In 2018, Alex wrote and directed the film High Voltage starring David Arquette and Luke Wilson.

Ryan Gibson

Ryan Gibson is an Emmy-award winning producer of such films as the critically acclaimed Woe and the upcoming film Slotherhouse. He has worked for over twenty years in all aspects of film development and production.

HBO Max will stream the latest season of the Emmy-nominated TV series Project Greenlight from executive producer Issa Rae and Miramax Television in January 2023.
