由瑞士公司建造，位於冰島的補碳工廠「猛瑪」，已經開始啟用，是全球最大的補碳廠，能大量吸收，空氣中的二氧化碳，並將其儲存在地底下，協助減緩，全球暖化速度。據了解，「猛瑪」工廠每年可吸收 3萬6千噸的碳，相當於7千8百輛汽車的年碳排量。
