巴黎奧運賽事，將在7月26日展開。而象徵奧運傳承的的聖火，這個月26日已經從希臘雅典啟程，往法國南部港口馬賽出發。然而紐約時報上個星期爆料，中國游泳代表隊，疑似在上屆奧運，服用體能增強藥物，卻依舊被允許參賽，造成國際奧委會和藥檢單位備受批評。不過國際奧委會表示，相信藥檢單位的專業，強調不會因為上屆的風波，影響中國游泳隊，參加今夏賽事。
