Dr. Alice P. Green passed away suddenly on the afternoon of August 20, 2024. She was a civil rights leader, advocate for the marginalized, and a woman with a radical and fierce belief in human freedom. In memory of her work - and in a commitment to carry on - the Center for Law and Justice, which she founded, held on Friday, August 23, 2024, a candlelight vigil and march in the South End of Albany celebrating Dr. Green’s life and legacy.
