Mikhail Green is a Jamaican freelance graphic designer, web designer, blogger and SEO specialist. He was born in Kingston but was raised in Clarendon, Jamaica by his mother. He later returned to Kingston to pursue a communications degree with a specialization in advertising and public relations. Mikhail recently completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communications Arts and Technology at Utech Jamaica and moved back to Clarendon to launch his one-man studio “Mane Design Ja” which specializes in corporate identity systems for small businesses. He also runs a blog where he shares his personal experiences as a Jamaican graphic designer and covers topics that aren’t usually touched on in college. Mikhail tends to keep a low profile, but his work can be seen all around Jamaica. He has worked with high profile celebrities like Saudicka Diaram and Philip Clarke, and Jamaican publications like Buzzz Caribbean Lifestyle Magazine in the areas of web design, social media management and branding. Mikhail is a huge fan of videogames and an advocate for esports in Jamaica. He recently partnered with the Jamaica eSports Initiative to launch the Push Start campaign with the goal of introducing esports to a wider audience within Jamaica and encouraging young people to participate in a new and entertaining career path. He is now helping the UTech student union to form their own esports club that will compete in official videogame tournaments across the island.
