Trish chats with American Chef Sara Moulton on her many successes in the last few decades. From New York City, Sara talks growing up there, loving food (she says all the junk food), and then realizing her mother was doing some amazing things in the kitchen. You could say that's where it all started. Sara tells the story of how it was her mother who really got her into cooking school, after a couple of letters to a couple of prominent people. She tells stories of meeting and working with Julia Child, those first TV shows she did on Food Network, getting back on the air after 9/11, and why she thinks food really does bring us all together.
