A true Civil Rights activist, Rev. Jesse Jackson, joined us to share his perspective on the significance (irony) of the Super Bowl being played in Atlanta. Atlanta is known as the “cradle of the Civil Rights Movement.” It also marked the start of Black History Month. In recent years, the NFL has been strongly condemned for its role in social and racial injustices – who better to discuss these issues then Rev. Jesse Jackson! A.J. Perez discussed Julian Edelman. Perez's colleague wrote, "The NFL has some warped priorities. Call attention to racism and discrimination, and your career is effectively over. Test positive for performance-enhancing drugs, and you can be the Super Bowl MVP." -- Nancy Armour, USA Today. Is she right? Join us live this evening at 9:00 p.m. EST to discuss!
