Cilla Raie is a UK British R&B Singer/Songwriter from London. Taking inspirations from the likes of R&B Legends Aaliyah, Brandy and Destiny’s Child. Cilla Raie began recording music at just 14-years-old, with credible grime producer DaVinche (Stormzy, Skepta, Wiley) and Jackie Davidson MBE (Wayne Hector) being her mentors during the early stages of her musical journey. Cilla then went on to develop professional relationships with established music producers KZ, Rymez and Tre Jean Marie, working with artists such as Avelino, Double S and C Cane.In 2014, she released her first debut EP ‘Cilla Raie’ produced by the ‘Sillky’ (Mabel, Mahalia, Craig David) and ‘The Arcade’ (Doja Cat, Khalid, Migos). Gaining an exclusive premiere by the MOBO Awards, generating over 30K SoundCloud plays. Supported by DJ Ace at BBC1xtra, Link Up TV, and Westside. Cilla then embarked on a national school tour with UK Music and has performed at London’s top venues such as iLuvLive. In 2020 ‘Ain’t No One’ was released which secured her as This is R&B ‘10 R&B artist you should have on your Radar’ whilst securing over 10K Streams on Spotify. Her brand new single ‘Motives’ produced by Joey Dyer (Iggy Azalea, Katy B) and Sampl (Kali Claire) reminiscent of the 90’s/early 2000’s era, she combines her love for old school and contemporary R&B, delivering soft and sultry vocals. This year will see the release of a new Cilla Raie EP supported by Arts England/National Lottery, due to be released mid 2021.
