And in the taking off of the makeup, we reconcile the fact that true beauty -- that restful, confident beauty -- comes from within. A soul at rest. Yes, layers and layers of mascara help us present the way we want to in the world, but without knowing who we are and Whose we are, our getting-ready-routine will always fall short.
