If Only You Knew

Jenn & Mitch Hargreaves are high school sweethearts who’s shared desire to put life before work led them to sell everything they own and go travelling. They have been through so many ups and downs together and their lives has been full of twists and turns and lessons learned.

Both university graduates, Jenn studied a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, (Psychology) while Mitch initially enrolled in a Biotechnology Innovation degree and changed degrees a number of times before ultimately also completing a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, (Psychology).

In this episode we talk about the pressures and anxiety faced by high school students, the challenges of transitioning from high school to university, being the first in their families to go to university, having a friend circle who don’t understand what it’s like to study and how the reality of life took the wind out of their sails.

We also discuss the dangerous idea of feeling locked into one pathway and how not to let one person derail your ambitions. Jenn and Mitch talk about the importance of understanding your learning style and what makes you feel accomplished. To Jenn & Mitch, freedom is much more important than money, titles or status.
