An interview with Mona, owner of The Prickly Pear and Prickly Pear Body. The Prickly Pear is a nursery with purpose located in Sacramento, CA - where they offer a special program for developmentally challenged adults to practice garden therapy. They provide a stunningly landscaped space with an emphasis on inclusivity for all and sustainability for Mother Earth. The space also doubles as a venue for special events. The Prickly Pear offers an array of different kinds of plants online, as well as via a subscription service. They are open to the public Thursday through Sunday, with venue rentals offered throughout the week as well. Mona describes at length her belief that mother nature has the ability to heal.
