Let's join the conversation with Dr. Geneva and Wendy Adlerstein, executive and gerontology expert, as they discuss the shifting views about what it means to grow old.

Wendy Adlerstein, LSW, a Wellesley, MA resident, is an owner and Executive Director at FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston.

Wendy has more than 20 years of experience in working with seniors. She holds a B.A. from Clark University, in Psychology with a concentration in Sociology and Human Services. In addition to her Massachusetts License in Social Work, Wendy holds a Certificate in Gerontology from the Worcester Consortium Gerontology Program.

She is a member of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA), formerly the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Finally, Wendy is a Certified Dementia Practitioner® in good standing from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Under Adlerstein’s leadership, FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston has built a reputation for the outstanding quality of care and service in the West Suburban Boston area–as evidenced by the many word-of-mouth referrals from clients and professionals who have high standards and expectations for the delivery of home care services.
