Maybe it's because he's from Texas where quiet confidence reigns.
Maybe it's because he's a Principal in Golovin, an Inupiat Eskimo village on the Seward Peninsula where respect for elders is generational.
Whatever the reason, Alan Davis, Principal of Martin L. Olson School in Golovin, has given a desperately needed boost of confidence in the public school system by recently coming out in support of Governor Dunleavy's parental rights bill, HB 105.
Public school teachers, counselors, administrators and Board members have been relentless in advancing sexual orientation and gender confusion ideologies and very purposefully withholding that from parents. HB105, that shouldn't even be necessary, would require public schools to obtain parental consent before they teach anything related to sex, and those classes could not be taught to kids in K-3rd grade. The bill also mandates that parents must be informed if kids begin identifying as a different gender in school. Finally, the legislation creates safe locker rooms and restrooms by separating those facilities by biological sex.
Alan Davis, who joins me on "I'm Glad You Said That" today, is one of, if not the only public school employee, who has stepped forward to support this eminently reasonable legislation. Unbelievably, a large percentage of those opposing HB105 have been teachers and counselors who are actually standing against parents.
Principal Davis, his letter is shown below, should be commended and should inspire what is hopefully a large number of reasonably minded, parent-focused public school employees to also step up and take a stand !
Hope you can tune in today
