What do you get when you mix together anti-government activism, tax evasion, conspiracy theories, white supremacist undertones, and the internet? Well, sounds like the answer would be "violence", and you're not entirely wrong. This week, we're talking about Sovereign Citizens, a group that (according to The Southern Poverty Law Center) uses "a variety of conspiracy theories and falsehoods to justify their beliefs and their activities, some of which are illegal and violent".
