When we think about Hollywood remakes the first question is sometimes…why ? In the case of the new Road House remake that question is only the beginning. With none of the charm, cohesiveness or even well developed characters as the original. Let’s face it Patrick Swayze’s Road House wasn’t exactly film perfection. But it knew when to joke and when to take itself seriously. I feel bad for new generations of movie fans who have to watch Hollywood try to Frankenstein movies of the past.
