Welcome to the latest episode of Impact!, in which we take a deep dive into the profound significance, challenges and opportunities facing Africa as we mark Africa Day, celebrated this year on May 25. Join us as we explore the transformative role Africa is playing in global geopolitics, its unique opportunities, such as being resource-rich and home to a young, tech-savvy and opportunistic population, and its progress and vital role in sustaining and rebooting the global economy.
We examine the successes of pan-Africanism, and especially the African Union's role in fostering unity and collaborative efforts to navigate shared hurdles like poverty, conflict, and governance issues.

In keeping with the core objectives celebrated on Africa Day, the African Union believes that “we can contribute to [a] vision of an integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa that plays an influential role in the global arena.”
