#14: Make Strong Choices with Dad's Cologne

Improvise Till You Make It!

Dad's Cologne, an improv trio based in Richmond, Virginia, USA, are making quite a splash with their instagram page dedicated to improv memes, @dadscologne. Through scheduling conflicts, faulty equipment, and crummy internet connections (we apologize in advance for the less than stellar sound quality), we were very lucky to get the chance to sit down and pick their brains on improv and how it pertains to life.
These hilarious guys join us for an insightful episode all about the importance of making strong choices in improv, and especially in life. We discuss the many different ways committing fully to our ideas can help bring them to life, as well as strategies for getting out of our heads, getting over our fears, and just simply getting to it in terms of making choices and going after the things we want.
Throughout our talks, we find ourselves in a world where scientists struggle to contain viral memes which are causing entire countries to literally die laughing, we find out what happens when a young boy's only ambition is to dress like a hot dog for Halloween, and we go deep into the situation room where a non-committal president uses some unconventional methods to make major military decisions.
