Virtual influencers are computer-generated characters that can influence the masses on social media. Currently, most virtual influencers are created by big agencies with CGI capabilities, making them expensive and limited in scale. However, the future of virtual influencers may involve AI video and storytelling to maintain authenticity and engagement. While the target audience for virtual influencers is currently Gen Alpha, it is expected to expand to other generations.
