EPISODE 12 BABY!!!

On this week's episode, we have another special guest joining the pod. The one and only Jessie. The topic of this episode focuses on the pros and cons of taking one or more gap years between high school and college. Since neither Ant or Kai have taken a gap year, Jessie shares her experience of taking three gap years. While there is a lot of negative stigma about taking a gap year, if planned out correctly it can enhance your time in college. One of the best benefits from taking a gap year(s) is that it gives you time to find out what career you want to pursue without wasting time and money in college. However, as Jessie points out not everything about the transition from the time off from school and going to college is smooth. To make matters worse, during only her third semester, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, making college life even more difficult. Despite all of that, there is plenty of helpful advice for anyone thinking about taking a gap year mixed in with plenty of laughs. As always, we appreciate the love and support everyone has been showing to the podcast and we can’t wait to continue to grow with your support. If you want any questions or advice to be answered on the podcast you can submit them via Instagram or email. Stay safe, keep grinding, and remember to always stay In Da Pocket.
