In this episode- In Contrast- Classical Theist (CT) and myself (Night Errantry) discuss the acquittal of Cardinal Pell and the guild of Mr. McCarrick in contrast. This exercise is compared in light of the latest Church Militant/SSPX controversy. A mysterious anonymous source is made use of but so are publicly available sources that are 𝙣𝙤𝙩 Church Militant. A good deal of the time is spent on e-mails, which proved to be a much more pleasant subject. We discuss questions of theological anxiety, Charles Coulombe and the esoteric.

Pope Pius IX called the US Civil War a "deplorable internecine conflict". The penchant for Roman Catholics to enjoy very much being very mean and attempt to destroy each other is a venerable and ancient tradition that some metaphysical historians believe dates as far back as Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery in Egypt. I do not know the veracity of these claims but it is very clear that in the history of great catholic conflicts this current one is extremely important. Just look at twitter and how much time grandmothers, ex-degens who enjoy swords with modest media empires and extremely masculine jiujitsu practitioners spend there murmuring, making strange digital noises, about the Pope and other such figures! I often lament the fact that Zippy Catholic is dead. When he found himself being mean to someone on the internet because they were mean to him he would sometimes invite them to meet them IRL and take them out to a nice lunch. No one has every invited me to a nice lunch.
