Rehabilitation for athletes and elderly people is usually a period that requires much care and effort and therefore technology comes in handy. Unfortunately, patients have low adherence and adoption of technology due to wearability issues related to parts of the human body, which cannot be measured using conventional sensors during physiotherapy.
Today we are honored to host Ariffin Kawaja, the Chief Executive Officer at Stretch Skins another cohort of Qatar Sports Tech.
Stretch Skins offer smart physical rehabilitation solutions using soft sensors technology. They have developed a gaming platform related to rehabilitation and given the names of the game that are familiar to their clients such as the China Town game, They have developed a solution using stretchable sensors for human motion capture using an AI-driven rehab platform with games for personalized rehabilitation.
The startup is striving to offer active gaming through its combination of elderly rehabilitation and esports to ease the recovery period for people globally. And that’s not all, hear more about their unconventional idea and fantastic journey in this episode!
