About Cat:

Cathryn is the founder of The WC, a newsletter and website (pre-launch) of curated resources for womxn and girls to equal the playing field in education, business, the arts, and more. Like many of us, she lives in a constant state of transition. From spending a semester in China to starting a career in finance on her way to becoming an FBI agent to moving to New Zealand so she could kayak off waterfalls to entrepreneurship or multiple cross-country moves, she finds energy in being in motion. She has interned with the FBI, worked for Fortune 100s, social enterprises, tech startups, and led and supported nearly 80 disaster response and COVID-19 response efforts. While she often finds constant change stressful, she thrives gaining experience in various industries, communities, and interests and gains inspiration from people who take chances and make daring changes at every stage of life. She's a pretty darn good home cook and loves hosting dinner parties, fostering communities (she helped launch a co-working space in Denver), and creating events such as Gear & Beer. She has lived in New Zealand and China and dreams of living abroad again in multiple countries and growing an international real estate and business portfolio with the hopes of escaping winter forever. She currently resides in Washington D.C. with her fiancé Jeremy and many plants that she does her best not to kill.
