In this episode I decided to take a look at experiences I have had because of my skin colour (dark skin) in the midst of black people (people of my own race). Certain negative experiences can alter ones' perception of themselves to a great extent but I also want to believe that it is important for one to love themselves as they are in order to fend off such negative energy. You are unique in your own way and if people do not feel comfortable with that, still love yourself for who you are no matter your skin colour.
