In May of 2014, WKU Associate Professor John All fell 70 feet down a crevasse in the Himalaya. He climbed out and survived despite breaking 15 bones (including six vertebrae), ripping his right arm out of the shoulder, bleeding internally and externally, and waiting 19 hours alone for a helicopter. His presentation will detail the specific planning tips that allowed him to summit Mt. Everest in 2010 and also to survive when his life was on the line.
This episode of the Innovation Update features John’s keynote presentation at IFBG 2015: “When Preparation Meets Need – Lessons from the Himalaya on Achieving Success.”
