Sam has always been at the forefront of audio advertising and creativity, at its very start when Ricky Gervais returned to Xfm in 2001. He shared a voice booth with his producer Karl Pilkington. After a chat over tea in the shared kitchen, he decided to edit the links of this new show to cd’s for key agencies as promotion. Demand soon grew that he eventually loaded MP3’s on to an FTP site, a full 3 years before Apple added podcast support to iTunes. This eventually became the world biggest podcast but it started simply from a belief great audio content should be on-demand not just linear.
Today, he is the Executive Creative Director for A Million Ads.
