Antoine Delaporte is an INSEAD alumnus who after working as a Manager at Bain in London and Paris launched 3 clothing businesses in Madagascar, which he grew to 2500 employees. He then sold the these businesses and entered the world of PE, starting Adenia Partners 20 years ago. He has raised 5 funds for Adenia, the latest being a 500m fund.
In this episode he talks about the scale of impact one can have in Africa in changing the world vs other locations, and the VC-like returns you can achieve by investing in traditional businesses on the continent.
